Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility, recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU License: MA Respiratory Care license Certifications: RRT certification, BLS Must-Have: Familiarity with lung protective ventilation, participation on Code Blue team, ability to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results Description: Required experience in a Level 1 trauma facility. Experience in both MICU and SICU is essential. Familiarity with lung protective ventilation is required. Participation on the Code Blue team is necessary. Ability to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results is essential. Experience with Level III NICU is preferred. Familiarity with Drager XL and v500 ventilators is preferred. NPS and/or ACCS certifications are preferred.
