Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Required: State license Certifications: Required: BLS Must-Have: Epic charting experience Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist position available for nights. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts from 6:15 PM to 6:45 AM. Every other weekend is required. No call shifts are expected. Position accepts new travelers. Minimum experience of 1 year is required for consideration. Experience in Epic charting is essential. The department handles acute care in a 300-bed facility. Duties include administering medication, performing nebulizer treatments, and managing various therapies. Responsibilities include assisting with intubations and bronchoscopy, as well as providing mechanical ventilation support. Experience with pediatric patients in the ER is only required if competency is demonstrated. Candidates should be familiar with a range of equipment commonly used in respiratory care. Key skills needed include airway management, medication administration, and patient transport. Experience in adult critical care and trauma is necessary. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
