Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,159 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 3+ years recent experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers. License: DC RRT License required. Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS required prior to start. Must-Have: Pediatric experience strongly preferred. Description: This position requires availability to work weekends only, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No requests for time off will be approved during the assignment. The role includes working within a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility has specialized respiratory care services for neonates and pediatric patients. Experience in critical care settings, specifically in NICU or PICU, is preferred. Must be able to float within the scope of practice but not to sister facilities. The charting system utilized is Cerner, and strong proficiency is preferred. Candidates should be adept in various respiratory care procedures, including management of mechanical ventilation and emergency interventions. Additional skills in interpreting arterial blood gases and pediatric respiratory care are essential. Travelers should be ready for compliance checks prior to the start of their assignment. Returning travelers must have a minimum separation period from previous engagements. All assignments require completion of pre-start modules to meet compliance before orientation.
