This role involves responding to arrest and emergency situations. The individual will provide CPR and support life support systems. Responsibilities include performing respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations. Delivering medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers is also required. The therapist will respond to all rapid responses, arrests, or STAT situations immediately. Maintaining artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions are essential. Setting up and maintaining all oxygen according to protocol is a key responsibility.
