Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, RRT Must-Have: NICU experience required NRP certification required Previous charge experience preferred Travel experience required Description: The position requires NICU experience. NRP certification is mandatory. Candidates will be expected to provide care for neonates in a critical care environment. Responsibilities include advanced airway management, administering therapies, and monitoring patient conditions. Experience with various respiratory equipment is necessary. Candidates should be proficient in performing procedures such as intubation and arterial blood gas sampling. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Strong communication and patient assessment skills are required. Candidates must be willing to float as needed within the facility. Experience in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports is a plus. A focus on patient safety and quality of care is paramount.
