Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Washington License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Must have the ability to work independently within a level 3 NICU autonomously. Must have the skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center. Description: This position requires flexible scheduling as it may float between units internally. Weekends are required every other week as per the collective bargaining agreement. The expected patient ratios will depend on the hospital's acuity level. Candidates must have WA licensure in hand. Experience in a NICU level III or IV is necessary. Neuro Trauma ICU experience is required. All staff members are considered VAR for the unit. The schedule will be consistent whenever possible, though specific assignments are typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance. Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility as needed. References from two individuals covering one year within the last three years are required. No calls to facility contacts are permitted unless for an agreed-upon interview. Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start. Time spent on modules will be self-reported.
