Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,259 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years PICU/Adult experience required License: WA Licensure required to apply Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Pediatric Critical Care experience Description: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. First-time travelers accepted. Must be open to floating to other campuses. Patient volume/load includes 5 ventilators and 6-8 RVUs. Work setting experience in Pulmonary Function Test Lab preferred. Required experience in Adult Critical Care, ED, PICU, and Pediatrics. Proficient in airway management devices and suctioning. Experience in extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, and sputum specimen collection required. Medication administration experience required for various inhaled medications and therapies. Ventilator management skills are necessary including BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. Knowledge of ABG interpretation and basic EKG also required. Must have experience floating between facilities. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years prior to start may be required. Candidates will be responsible for submitting any necessary documentation related to qualifications.
