Shifts: Nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role requires expertise in adult ICU settings, where the therapist will operate in critical, non-critical, and chronically ill environments, primarily focused on respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Respond to emergency situations (Code Blue and White)
- Conduct airway management including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning
- Administer aerosolized drugs
- Manage ventilators including setup and operation
- Perform oral hygiene and maintain airway retaining devices
- Manage airway support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP
- Monitor and deliver oxygen therapy
- Analyze chest films and blood gas samples
- Conduct EKG analysis and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain and stock equipment and supplies
- Participate in CAP and JC surveys
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- RT or RCP License in the state of employment required
- BLS Certification via AHA required
- ACLS Certification via AHA required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
- Must have adult ICU experience
