Pay: $2,301.12 per week

Shifts: Primarily Night Shift with an occasional Day Shift; Every 3rd Weekend Rotation

This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting, primarily during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and be experienced with the Cerner charting system.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Provide patient and family focused care throughout the patient's stay
  • Initiate and follow individualized plans of care
  • Document according to established standards
  • Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions
  • Establish and evaluate progress toward goals with patients and healthcare providers
  • Assist other respiratory team members through care processes
  • Participate in patient and family education
  • Delegate patient care activities appropriately
  • Initiate effective discharge and referral plans on admission
  • Utilize patient acuity to anticipate changes in care needs
  • Perform technical respiratory skills per current policies

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Associate's Degree or diploma in Respiratory Care required
  • RRT, or CRT with experience
  • BLS upon hire
  • ACLS, PALS within 1-year, and NRP certification within 3 months
  • Current licensed Wisconsin RCP
