Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,345 per week in Park Ridge, IL

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Clinical Services Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year minimum experience required License: Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner Certifications: RRT, NRP, BLS, PALS, RRT-NPS (preferred) Must-Have: Experience with pediatrics, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, Servo ventilator, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), airway clearance techniques, aerosol delivery, and high flow devices. Description: This position is for a respiratory therapist in a clinical services setting. The therapist will provide respiratory services, including support for patients on nebulizers and MDI inhalers. They will manage acute cases such as RSV, enteroviruses requiring high flow oxygen, influenza, and intubated patients in ICU for medical or post-surgical reasons. Chronic cases include asthma and spinal muscular atrophy. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. The therapist will work alongside a charge therapist who often takes a patient assignment. Charting will be conducted using the EPIC and Pyxis systems. The therapist may float to NICU, PICU, general pediatric care floors, and pediatric ER in rotation. There will be a weekend rotation every other weekend. Holiday expectations include working one summer holiday and one winter holiday. Time off requests will be approved by the manager.
