Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2+ years current experience required License: Active New Hampshire RRT License required Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Must-Have: - RRT verification - PALS and CPFT certifications are highly preferred - Previous travel experience is highly preferred - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Measures the lung capacity of patients to determine any impaired function. Administers treatment prescribed by a physician for patients with breathing abnormalities. Assumes primary responsibility for respiratory care treatments, including oversight of respiratory therapy technicians. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Local travelers will not be considered for this need. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance. Proofs must be uploaded as required. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed.
