Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,414 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent NICU/PICU experience required License: State License Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: NICU and Pediatric Critical Care experience required. Description: MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day). COVID vaccine is optional; reporting of vaccine numbers is required. Average daily census includes 6-10 vents. Weekend work is required as needed by the unit. Travelers are expected to work no more than 3 weekends in a row to accommodate unit needs. Floating to the adult RRT unit as needed is expected. Trauma Level I experience is required. We work with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and high-frequency jet ventilation in a trauma center for adult and pediatric patients. This role requires skills such as endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, nasal airway placement, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care. Must be self-rated 4 on High Frequency Jet Ventilator (HFJV) and High Frequency Oscillator (HFOV). Both NICU and PICU experience are necessary. Please note that travelers with less than 2 years of recent experience in NICU/PICU should not be considered.
