Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,416 per week in La Plata, MD

Job Title: Respiratory Therapy Technician Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong pediatric/adult experience License: CRT or RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Strong pediatric and adult experience - Ability to float within the specialty as needed Description: RRT position available for night shifts. The role requires working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 - 07:30. The patient population includes neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required as scheduled. Floating to all care areas to support respiratory care may be needed. No on-call responsibilities are required. Candidates should have experience in various respiratory procedures and protocols. Skills required include the ability to assist in high-risk deliveries, perform intubations, and manage ventilator systems. Knowledge of respiratory illnesses and the ability to interpret arterial blood gases is essential. Candidates will work with a daily census of approximately 40 patients. All respiratory equipment such as ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, and blood gas machines will be utilized.
