Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience License: Vermont RRT License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Must-Have: Ability to work independently with invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Capability to draw ABG's and manage airways, including assistance with intubations. Experience with various modalities, including Hi-flow O2 and PFTs. Willingness to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehab. At least 6 months of previous travel experience. Experience with Cerner EMR. Traveler must have their own vehicle. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Description: Responsible for setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment. Provide respiratory care in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Function independently and address varying degrees of challenges in patient care areas. Work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Dress code is business casual or personal scrubs of any color. Must possess the ability to work every other weekend and on holidays if needed. Strict attendance policy in place, with consequences for excessive call-offs.
