Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Clinical Services Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1 year License: CRT or RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Vent management - CPAP and BiPap - Nebulizer therapy - A-line placement - Intubation - Vent weaning and extubation - ABGs Description: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist within a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates will primarily care for geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric patients in the emergency department. Patient ratios are approximately 1:1. Experience with AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport is essential. The position involves floating to various units within the facility. A weekend rotation is required every other weekend. Time off requests can be approved for up to 7 days. On-call requirements will vary. Holiday expectations will also vary. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Staff cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts due to a fatigue policy. Scrub color is flexible, excluding camo and denim.
