Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS- Provide respiratory care for all pediatric patients within the facility
- Utilize ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV) and other department-specific equipment
- Collaborate with respiratory leadership and cross-functional teams
- Participate in weekend rotations and fulfill holiday expectations
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS- BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- RRT or CRT credential
- North Carolina Licensure
- 2 years of pediatric unit respiratory therapy experience in the past 5 years
- IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience
