Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,484 per week in Rosedale, MD

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU License: MD State licensure Certifications: BLS, CRT Must-Have: - 1 prior travel assignment completed - ED experience preferred - ACLS preferred Description: RRT will be required to float between Adult and NICU. No on-call requirement. Every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected. The candidate must be able to manage airway devices, perform suctioning, and conduct extubation and nasal airway placement. They should be comfortable drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases. Skills required include the use of ventilators and various medications for respiratory therapy. The candidate must assist in high-risk deliveries and perform umbilical blood gas analysis. Familiarity with Draeger and Servo ventilators is necessary. The position entails working with neonates, infants, adults, and geriatrics. Ideal candidates will possess experience in Adult Critical Care settings. The role includes interaction with interdisciplinary support services.
