Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,506 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Pediatric/Neonatal Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and/or level 4 or greater Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) License: RRT preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - 2 or more years of experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU - Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Description: The position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care in pediatric and neonatal populations. Responsibilities include administering aerosol treatments, utilizing various ventilators, and performing airway management. The therapist will engage in all aspects of respiratory care including the use of intrahospital transport equipment. Intubation skills are not required; assistance in this area is expected. The department prefers a staffing model of eight respiratory therapists per shift. Weekend scheduling requires six shifts within a four-week period, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Shifts may be scheduled according to staff preferences. The typical dress code includes stone or light gray scrubs. All equipment used includes Hamilton and Servo ventilators, BiPAP, and high flow nasal cannula setups. A hospitalist or intensivist will be present in-house. No floating to other units is required. Charting will be completed within the designated electronic health record system.
