Location: Libertyville, IL

Pay: $2,510.64 weekly

Shifts: 12h shifts, every other weekend rotation, no on-call

This role focuses on pulmonary care services and involves working in a teaching hospital environment. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Administering tracheostomy care and nitrous oxide procedures
  • Implementing proning techniques and providing ECMO support
  • Delivering critical care for ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention
  • Conducting spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas draws
  • Managing 1:1 patient ratios effectively

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • 2 years of experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Active IL license
  • Active BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system
