Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Perform tracheostomy care and manage nitrous oxide procedures
- Utilize proning techniques and participate in ECMO procedures
- Engage in critical care experience and prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia
- Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas draws
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Active IL Respiratory Therapist license
- Active BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP certifications
- RRT certification (CRT accepted)
- EPIC experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
