Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,511 per week in Windsor, VT

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience required. License: Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required. Must-Have: Must be able to work independently with invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Must be able to perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws. Must be skilled in airway management, including assisting with intubations. Must have experience with various positive airway pressure (PAP) modalities and high-flow oxygen. Must be willing to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation. Must have Cerner experience. Must have at least 6 months of previous travel experience preferred. Traveler must have their own vehicle. Traveler's permanent address must be included in the profile. Description: The role involves functioning independently in various patient care areas. Ability to solve problems in a dynamic environment is essential. You will set up and operate different types of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified upon submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work two blocks if scheduled or needed during designated holiday periods. Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. Dress code is business casual or personal scrubs of any color. Travelers will be subject to a three-strike rule regarding call-offs; after three call-offs, the contract will be eligible for termination.
