Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,517 per week in New Orleans, LA

Upon accepting the assignment, staff may be assigned to an emergency team and will be expected to remain until the event passes. Applicants should be comfortable with this arrangement. The manager is flexible regarding scheduling options (3x12s or 4x12s). First-time travelers will be accepted, but only experienced registered therapists are eligible. Candidates must have the required certifications in hand upon submission. References from two supervisors will be needed to complete the clearance process before starting the contract. The facility does not accept local travelers; candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility. Allied candidates booked with a pending license must apply for licensure within 72 hours of signing. It is essential to discuss any requests for time off during the interview process. Modules related to training will be billable and completed during orientation. Candidates who have previously worked in permanent positions with the employer must have been separated for one year before returning as travelers.
