Seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) for a contract opportunity in a healthcare setting. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

This assignment offers guaranteed hours, a consistent schedule, and the opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes through specialized respiratory care.

SHIFT DETAILS
  • Shift Time: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
  • Meal Break: 30 Minutes
  • 12.5-Hour Day Shift
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $43.20 - $50.40 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Respiratory Therapist License in good standing as required by state regulations
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Previous acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
  • Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment
  • Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory interventions
  • Perform patient assessments and document treatment responses
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies and disease management
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $43.20 - $50.40 per hour
  • Day-shift assignment
