Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: 2 years with 18 months recent ICU experience required License: Valid RRT license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, RRT Must-Have: Written confirmation from the traveler that they are comfortable with the every other weekend requirement Floating between facilities required Description: This position requires a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist with a focus on critical care. The candidate must have a minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience. Candidates must have their RRT license issued and valid before the start date. Additional certifications required include ACLS and BCLS. The role involves floating between different facilities as needed. Every other weekend availability is mandatory. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential in the treatment and management of patients. The candidate must also demonstrate competence in various respiratory therapies and procedures. The focus will be on adult and geriatric patient populations. Applicants should be prepared to engage in critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations. Strong technical skills in respiratory equipment and emergency procedures are required. Candidates will participate in patient assessment and develop care plans accordingly. All potential candidates should be aware of the job requirements and engage in necessary compliance measures.
