Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,750 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Respiratory Care - Generalist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2-3 years with at least 1 year in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit License: RRT credential preferred; pending license acceptable Certifications: BLS required, PALS preferred Must-Have: Pediatric critical care experience Description: We are seeking a respiratory care practitioner with strong pediatric critical care experience. Candidates must have a Respiratory Care Therapist credential. Candidates with CRT credentials will not be accepted. The role requires rotating shifts between days and nights, depending on department needs. We aim to limit the frequency of rotating shifts unless specifically requested. Experience managing patients from premature infants to adolescents is necessary. Knowledge of various respiratory procedures and equipment is essential, including BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation techniques. Candidates should be able to perform skills such as intubation assistance, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and care for tracheostomy patients.
