Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Therapist Reg - Generalist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: - 2-3 years of experience required - At least 1 year of experience in PICU or Pediatric CVICU assistance License: - RRT credential required - Pending state license accepted Certifications: - BLS required - PALS preferred Must-Have: - CRT not accepted - Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and other ventilators - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Tracheostomy care and management experience Description: Looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner with NICU experience. Responsibilities include assisting with ventilators and providing critical care for pediatric patients. Candidates should have experience with high-frequency ventilators and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms. There is a rotation requirement between day and night shifts. Weekend coverage is mandatory, and pre-approved time off is available. Local candidates may have some differences in rate. must be willing to work closely with a diverse patient population, including neonates and adolescents. 2 professional references are required from different facilities where the candidate has worked in the last three positions. No travel experience is required for this position. Only certified candidates will be considered for this role.
