Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,823 to $3,023 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• NBRC certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting
• EPIC EMR experience
• All certifications must be active
• Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months
• Experience with jet ventilator
• Experience with Drager Vent
• Experience with Oscillator Vent
• NICU experience within the last 18 months
• Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months
• 36 months of current RRT / Respiratory Therapy experience

Assignment Details

• Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Start time: 0700 or 1900, based on staffing and census
• 36 hours per week
• Holiday rotation if scheduled
• No call
• Weekend requirement: as scheduled
• Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital
