Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $3,155 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PICU and L&D experience required. Must have Children's Client experience within the last 3 years. License: Indiana State License required. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS preferred, NBRC RRT. Must-Have: Must be comfortable with floating to PICU, NICU, and Pediatric specialties. Description: Before submission, written confirmation from the traveler that they are comfortable with the every other weekend requirement must be provided. First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires a minimum experience of 2 years in PICU. Children's hospital experience in the last 3 years is mandatory. Unit assignments will be based on assessed experience in NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics. Floating requirements include potential assignments to PICU, NICU, and Pediatrics. Travelers must work every other weekend. Vacancies may be filled by strong clinicians from a Level 1 adult facility if they meet the experience criteria. All travelers will float within the facility or to nearby affiliates. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Two supervisor references are required for submission. All certifications must be current and available prior to start date. No specific charting system experience is required for this position. This role may involve working with patients in a pediatric critical care setting, ages from neonates to infants. A thorough understanding of pediatric respiratory care and protocols is essential. Candidates should possess skills in arterial blood gas interpretation, tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation weaning, and aerosol therapy setups. Floating is 100% required of all travelers. The ability to handle high-pressure alarms and troubleshoot equipment is necessary. Experience in pulmonary hygiene and respiratory medication administration is preferred.
