• Position: Respiratory Therapist
• Location: Welch

• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 5x8
• Experience Required: 1 Year
• Pay Rate: $50 to $56 per hour

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and prescribed respiratory medications
• Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gas sampling, pulmonary function testing, and oxygen assessments
• Set up, operate, and monitor ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory care equipment
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide airway management when needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and home care equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and quality control of respiratory equipment
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active Respiratory Therapist License in West Virginia
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred (CRT accepted if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and respiratory assessment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
