Opportunity:
CONTRACT - NICU RRT (754) - 13 WEEKS - 6:00P-6:00A
Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment working night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Rotating schedule with 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• Required dress code: Olive green scrub tops with black pants
• Work with GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gases, and ventilator management
• Assist with bronchoscopy, intubation, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy
• Transport patients on mechanical ventilation within the hospital for procedures such as CT/MRI
• Patient assignments based on volume with approximately 35-40 patients per shift
• Must have adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting
• Adult critical care experience in ICU or ED is preferred
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members across multiple disciplines
Facility:
This medical center features a respiratory therapy department staffed with a team of approximately 50 professionals, with 7-9 staff members and one supervisor on each shift. The facility offers a dynamic work environment equipped with modern respiratory therapy technology and maintains permanent positions on the unit.
