    Description

    Opportunity:

    CONTRACT - NICU RRT (754) - 13 WEEKS - 6:00P-6:00A

    Job Details:

    • 13-week contract assignment working night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
    • Rotating schedule with 4 weekend shifts per month
    • No on-call requirements
    • Required dress code: Olive green scrub tops with black pants
    • Work with GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC equipment
    • Use Meditech EMR system
    • Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gases, and ventilator management
    • Assist with bronchoscopy, intubation, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy
    • Transport patients on mechanical ventilation within the hospital for procedures such as CT/MRI
    • Patient assignments based on volume with approximately 35-40 patients per shift
    • Must have adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting
    • Adult critical care experience in ICU or ED is preferred
    • Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members across multiple disciplines

    This medical center features a respiratory therapy department staffed with a team of approximately 50 professionals, with 7-9 staff members and one supervisor on each shift. The facility offers a dynamic work environment equipped with modern respiratory therapy technology and maintains permanent positions on the unit. The organization values collaborative team members who can work effectively across multiple disciplines to provide high-quality patient care.
