Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Philadelphia, PA

Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified respiratory therapist
• Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures
• Deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and perform ventilator management
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Perform blood gas analysis
• Must be available every 3rd weekend and work 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays in a 6-week period
• Required certifications: NBRC RRT or CRT certification, ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license required
