Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Richmond, VA

Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work in fast-paced environment with rotating weekend schedule
• Call schedule: one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks (preferable)
• Patient assignment: 20-25 treatments per round on normal floor assignment
• Work with various respiratory equipment including oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines
• Perform typical procedures including nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and arterial blood gases
• ICU experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Required certifications: Current RRT credential, Current VA State License, Current BLS & ACLS
• EMR system: Meditech
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Must thrive in fast-paced environment and be comfortable with high patient volume
