Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of acute care experience and current NICU/PICU experience for a night shift assignment at a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital.

Details

• /PICU respiratory therapy department within a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, tertiary care, and teaching facility
• Department structure includes a director, manager, one supervisor/charge therapist per shift, and staff therapists
• Utilizes High Flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox in addition to standard nebulizer therapy
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• May float to provide coverage on adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, and chest physiotherapy (CPT)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• , Rexperience RRT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Current NICU/PICU experience required
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• ACLS certification required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
