Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab Float position in Nashua, NH, requiring active BLS and ACLS certifications and flexibility to float to Med/Surg as needed.
Details
- Primary work setting is the inpatient Rehab unit of a hospital, with floating responsibilities to Med/Surg when Rehab census is low
- Varied shifts across a defined workweek running Sunday at 12:01 AM through Saturday at 11:59 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Rehab nursing experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification required — must be obtained prior to completion of orientation if not already held
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred — must be obtained prior to completion of orientation if not already held
Additional Information
- Provides comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift
- Conducts bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding using AIDET communication framework
- Participates in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality/performance improvement initiatives
- Maintains awareness of unit-based nurse-sensitive indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, falls, hand hygiene, and VAE
- May serve as preceptor for new nurses and collaborates with nursing students and instructors
- Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel and collaborates in supervising nursing assistants
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
