Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) position requiring FL or compact RN license, BSN, and Cerner experience.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 62 beds
• Adult and geriatric patient population recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Patient ratios of 6-7:1 RN/LPN and 10:1 CNA
• Uses Cerner EHR and Omnicell equipment
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required, though scheduling occurs across two nursing unit floors

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• BSN or higher required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, no new graduates
• IRF and Med-Surg experience required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Preferred experience in Step Down, Wound Care, Respiratory Treatment, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program
• Work with a multidisciplinary team supporting neurological, spinal cord, brain injury, stroke, amputation, and orthopedic rehabilitation programs
• Team player mentality with adaptability and flexibility expected
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
