Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, requiring FL or compact RN licensure and acute care rehab experience.

Details

• Work in an 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital treating stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 for RN and 1:10-12 for CNA
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Uses standard hospital lift equipment, no ventilators
• Epic EHR system used
• Floating required across 3 hospital floors, all rehab units

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) required
• CNA certification required
• AHA certifications required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Acute care skills required including IV starts, feeding tubes, ostomy care, and wound care
• Rehab experience preferred but not required
• Experience with post-surgical, stroke, cardiac, and hemodialysis patients
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from severe injury or illness
• Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke and Brain Injury Specialty programs
• Navy scrubs required for RN staff
• Report time is 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM depending on shift
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
