Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, requiring Cerner experience and at least 1 year of IRF or med-surg experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit on a single floor with 14-28 beds, expanding to a second unit
• Adult patient population (18+) including stroke, brain injury, amputation, multi-trauma, hip fracture, spinal cord injury, debility, and cardiac diagnoses
• RN to patient ratio of 6:1 and LPN ratio of 7:1
• Uses Cerner EHR and Omnicell equipment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, no new graduates
• IRF or med-surg experience required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Social security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Works within a transdisciplinary team model in a collaborative team environment
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Report time is 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM depending on shift
• Permanent residence must be outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates who worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time
