Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Acute Rehab position requiring 2 years of experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across three floors
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit serving adult patients aged 18 and older with stroke, brain/spinal-cord injury, amputation, complex orthopedic and other rehabilitation needs
• Approximate patient ratios of 1:6-7 during days and 1:8 at night, with each nurse supported by a dedicated tech
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within five units in the hospital: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• Uses Epic EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Missouri or compact license required
• BLS (CPR) certification required, AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• RN certification/education required
• CRRN certification preferred
• Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor preferred

• Provide rehabilitation nursing care focused on improving patients' functional ability and quality of life
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and family members as part of a collaborative care team
• Facility offers specialized units including brain injury and stroke care with monitored rooms and specialized equipment
• Black scrubs required along with agency-provided ID badge
• Report to Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Must comply with facility influenza vaccination policy or submit an approved exemption with required masking during flu season
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
