Facility: Mount Sinai Morningside
Unit: Clark 7 Rehab
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
On-Call: Not required
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care to rehabilitation patients. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients and caregivers, and support quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- 2 years of rehabilitation and mechanical ventilation experience
- NYS RN License
- BLS required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Epic experience highly preferred
- BSN preferred; ADN considered with relevant experience and/or active BSN enrollment
Additional Details
- Average unit census: 21
- 25 beds per unit
- RN may perform charge nurse duties as assigned
- Must document accurately according to hospital, regulatory, and legal standards
- Provides patient education, discharge planning, purposeful rounding, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
