MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelersREQUIRED SKILLS: Orthopedics, Dynamic splints, Functional splints, Static splints, Amputee, Upper/Lower Extremity, Parkinson s disease, Arthritis, Other Progressive Neurological Disorders CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: GA State License, BLS, NBCOTAVAILABLE SCHEDULES: 5x8s Mon/Wed: 9:45-18:15, Tues/Thurs/Fri: 7:30-16:00 or 4x10 7:30-18:00* preferred shift. Many of the therapists work 4x10s or some other schedules. Typically open to establish schedules together.ORIENTATION: Able to work 5x8s that week or 4x10s:Day 1- Mandatory NEO, completing modulesDay 2- Departmental Orientation, begin shadowing full time therapist, modulesDay 3- Mandatory Epic Training, modulesDay 4- Shadowing, more modulesORDay 1- Mandatory NEO, completing modulesDay 2- Departmental Orientation, begin shadowing full time therapist, modulesDay 3- Mandatory Epic Training, modulesDay 4- Shadowing, more modulesDay 5- Shadowing and completing modules if necessaryWEEKEND: Every Other if not blocked / determined otherwiseCALL: NoneFLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice to Piedmont Fayette (Outpatient facility) as neededAYA OFFER: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements. RTO: MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
