Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Atlanta.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services department of a hospital
• 12-hour day shifts with a schedule that varies between 7a-7:30p
• Every other weekend shift required
• 3 shifts per week
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the respiratory therapy specialty
• GA RRT license required (license required if applicable)
• RRT certification through the NBRC
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Current AHA PALS certification

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
• Returning perm staff seeking to work as a non-local traveler must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
