Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Respiratory Therapy department
• Provides services across Acute Care and Emergency Department areas
• Patient population includes inpatients in ED, Medical-Surgical Unit, and Step-Down Unit
• Patient ratio of approximately 80:1, typically rounding on 20-25 patients
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Night shift schedule (3x12's, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• RRT certification required
• VA state license required if applicable
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient assessment, treatment of pulmonary disease, and pulmonary-related patient education
• Must adhere to facility dress code with hunter green scrubs
• Candidates must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered
