Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings. This position requires immediate availability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and support to adult and geriatric patients.
• Assist in intubation and extubation processes.
• Administer therapies including BiPAP, CPAP, and aerosol treatments.
• Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gas analysis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Participate in rapid response and critical care interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5 years of experience as an RRT or CRT in critical care settings.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
