Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of critical care Respiratory Therapy experience
• North Carolina Respiratory Care License
• RRT preferred; CRT accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• First-time travelers considered

Preferred Experience

• Level I Trauma Center experience
• High-acuity hospital experience
• Experience with:
  • Servo U
  • Servo Air
  • The Vest
  • Volara
  • Aerogen
  • Heated High Flow
  • Cough Assist

Patient Population

• Adult ICU patients
• Medical/Surgical patients
• Emergency Department patients
• Common diagnoses include:
  • COPD
  • Asthma
  • Pneumonia
  • Post-surgical respiratory conditions

Department Information

• Assignments based on department needs and therapist experience
• May work in ICU or Medical/Surgical areas
• Strong leadership support with Lead Therapists on every shift
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment

Technology

• EMR: Epic

Orientation

• New Employee Orientation (NEO)
• 1–2 days of department-specific orientation
