Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of critical care/ventilator experience, including neonatal and pediatric care, for a hospital day shift position in Colorado.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy position
• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and all levels of acuity
• Work a 3-day, 12-hour day shift schedule with weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; CRT not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Critical care and ventilator management experience required
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience required
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
• Current, active Colorado RT license (DORA-RT) required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• License required if applicable
• Proof of flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Deliver respiratory care and diagnostic procedures across the full range of patient ages and acuity levels
• Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Housing may be available for rent directly through the facility for travelers during their assignment
