Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT) position available in Berlin, Vermont. This assignment is expected to last between 16 and 26 weeks, offering a dynamic clinical experience across various patient populations, including ICU and emergency department floors. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to patients of all ages, with a schedule structured around night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Neonate and pediatric - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, with significant responsibility in their care, even if not dedicated NICU/PICU
- Minimum of 2 years experience in respiratory therapy
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (Epic) within the past 2 years
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional Information:
- Assignment duration: 16-26 weeks, with tiered travel rates based on mileage measured by direct line distance
- No block scheduling; work may include a minimum of every other weekend and participation in holiday rotations (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day) as needed
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; next available orientation date to be confirmed
- All employment gaps over 90 days should be explained; comprehensive work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required
