Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for an Illinois-based hospital position using the Epic EMR system.

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy position in Illinois

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience required
• Active RRT license in Illinois required at time of consideration
• Illinois license required if applicable
• Iowa license also required, or proof of application for an Iowa single-state license or compact license
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current NRP certification required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates who were previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Holiday coverage requires working 2 of the following 3: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
