Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Springfield, MA | 13-Week Contract

Ready for your next respiratory therapy assignment? We're seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel opportunity in Springfield, Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity to join a respected healthcare team with a strong likelihood of contract extension.

 

Position Details

  • Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Location: Springfield, MA
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Likely)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Openings: 1
  • Timekeeping System: Shiftwise

Requirements

  • Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
  • BLS Certification required by start date (may be completed during onboarding)
  • Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
  • Travelers must reside 90+ miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver respiratory care and therapeutic treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory interventions.
  • Operate and monitor respiratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards.
