Job Description:

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts 

Setting: NICU / Special Care Nursery

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• Rotating or all night shifts available
• Every third weekend required
• Rotating schedule based on department needs

Travel Pay Package:

• $2,709 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level II and Level III NICU environment
• Support neonatal and pediatric patients requiring respiratory care
• Manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications
• Assist with delivery room respiratory care when needed

• Great opportunity for experienced NICU Respiratory Therapists seeking a travel assignment

• Client interview required
• Weekly orientation starts available
• Interview availability must be included at submission
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Every third weekend rotation required
• No specific scrub color required
   

Requirements:

• Active RRT credential required
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license required
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• NICU experience required
• Level II or Level III NICU experience required
• Delivery room experience preferred
• Some pediatric experience may be considered if candidate has NICU experience
