Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Critical Illness & Rehabilitation
Location: Cleveland, OH
Facility: Regency Hospital of Cleveland East (Select Medical)
Contract: Up to 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Night Shift
12-hour shifts
4 shifts per week
48 scheduled hours per week
Job Summary
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to medically complex and critically ill patients in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital. Assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring advanced respiratory support while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Manage mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
Administer respiratory medications and breathing treatments
Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans as needed
Perform respiratory assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation staff
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
Required Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Active state Respiratory Therapist License (if required)
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification (if required by facility)
Preferred Qualifications
LTACH experience
Critical care or ICU experience
Mechanical ventilation experience
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
